The Advanced Imaging Center offers the outside community access to Janelia’s cutting-edge microscopes, at no cost. For further information, please contact Teng-Leong Chew (Center Director).
Who We Are
The Light Microscopy facility is a fully-supported, shared resources environment open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to Janelia scientists. It houses a full complement of state-of-the-art microscopes and multiple workstations dedicated to image processing. Please contact us to discuss how we can advance your research.
What We Do
The Light Microscopy facility provides advanced imaging resources to assist Janelia scientists with their research. In addition to regular maintenance, we offer project-specific training and consultation, technical assistance for image analysis, and periodically arrange in-depth workshops on microscopy theory, techniques, and image processing. Please read on to find out more about our equipment, capabilities, and additional resources.
